Eveline Ngwa, MSW
I hold a Masters of Social Work, clinical specialization and a Masters in International and Rural Development. I lived and worked in Africa, Europe and Asia with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
With certifications in Grief, CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, AEDP, and training in Narrative Therapy, Structural Family work, my approach to counselling is affective and experiential helping people heal, one layer at a time.
As former child intervention worker, I have experience working with people involved with child and family services, bicultural parenting and persons who struggle with serious and persistent mental illness and addictions.
Mindful of structural and systemic invitations that contribute to mental distress, I love to use a holistic lens that doesn’t only consider the bio-psychosocial and spiritual factors but also focus on addressing other social determinants of health.
I offer services in English and French
