My name is Toyin Okikiolu. I am a licensed Social Worker with a master’s degree in social work and am authorized to perform psychosocial intervention. Also, I have an advanced certificate in couples and family therapy.
With over 20 years of experience working within the community and hospital settings, I have a unique perspective on individuals’ resiliency, courage, and strength in adversity. I know that life can sometimes be challenging, lonely, and stressful and that you need someone who truly listens and understands during these moments. As a counselor, I provide an empathetic ear and collaborative support to individuals, couples, and parents to succeed when faced with various relationships and mental health challenges. From depression to stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, all types of abuse, etc.
My therapeutic approach is not one-size-fits-all. I will tailor interventions or combine techniques to suit the specific needs of each individual. I understand that individuals and their circumstances are unique. Hence, I am dedicated to providing the individualized attention they deserve. I am here to help them navigate life’s journey as they gain the confidence and resilience to thrive and achieve set goals.
