Life is messy, complicated and we do not always have the answers to ‘fix’ problems or issues . However, we have the ability to overcome, survive, process and become a better individual, partner and family member. It is the process that enable us develop the skills, values and the strength to go on with life. Our stories past, present and future are all relevant to who we are and who we want to become! I am equipped to support you in attaining these tools/skills through active listening, maintaining a non-judgmental stance and having a respectful dialogue.
My goal is to listen and address your unique needs through varying therapeutic approaches depending on the context of your situation. I utilize solution focused, strength-based, trauma focused, CBT and DBT skills approaches. Safety and respect are my priority as we engage to invite positive changes and develop helpful skills/tools/strategies.
